Select Properties is an Introductory Agency, founded in England in 1990 to provide a personal service for purchasers who wish to buy a property in south-west France.

Our colleagues, with whom we work closely, are well established, reputable firms. The majority are bilingual. We offer a large selection of their properties for sale in the departments of Aveyron, Lot, Lot et Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne and Haute-Garonne.

We spend time discussing with our Clients their individual needs and requirements and recommending the best way to proceed.  Knowing our Clients’ aspirations, we can select for them a range of details of suitable properties from a variety of areas, thus saving them much time and effort in their property search.

We specialise, by and large, in older properties or those more recently built in the local, traditional style, many with interesting architectural features typical of the region.  In the U.K. we have details of a wide selection of properties, ranging from simple farmsteads to large manor houses and châteaux - some needing renovation and others already converted. They are usually situated in or near a small hamlet or village.  We also have a number of properties for gîtes or chambres d’hôtes.  

Properties in France are individual in character, particularly in rural areas.  Written descriptions cannot convey fully their originality and potential.  It is therefore essential to see the properties in their surroundings to gain a true impression.

When ready to go to France we make all the necessary appointments, create an itinerary and help with accommodation if required. Our colleagues are carefully briefed beforehand regarding individual requirements.

If our Clients decide to purchase, our colleagues will negotiate on their behalf, accompany them to the Notaire (Solicitor) and support them through every stage of the procedure.

This service is provided at no cost to the Client, additional to the normal French Agency fees.
